Astryn Wallet is based on self-custody. No wallet can reverse confirmed on-chain transactions or recover lost seed phrases, private keys or file vault passphrases.
Anyone asking for your seed phrase is a risk
Astryn Wallet will not ask for your seed phrase, private key, file vault passphrase or verification code. Stop immediately when a page asks for them.
Verify chain, address and amount
Before sending assets, confirm the chain, target address, asset, amount and fee. Confirmed transactions usually cannot be reversed.
Watch wallets cannot send assets
A watch wallet stores only public addresses. It can monitor cold wallets or public addresses, but cannot sign or send transactions.
Protect the file vault passphrase
Use a long, hard-to-guess passphrase and keep it offline. If it is lost, encrypted file contents cannot be recovered.

Use the official Astryn Wallet website for Android, Windows and Linux packages, and verify the SHA256 value.
Keep devices secure
Use trusted devices, keep systems updated and avoid importing wallets on compromised or public devices.
