Astryn Wallet Privacy Policy

This page explains how Astryn Wallet handles data in the app and on the official website. Core wallet data is intended to remain local, and users are responsible for seed phrases, private keys and file vault passphrases.

We do not collect seed phrases or private keys

Astryn Wallet does not upload seed phrases, private keys or file vault passphrases to servers. Wallet creation, import, signing and file decryption should happen locally on the user's device.

App launch information

For compatibility, basic statistics and maintenance, the app may submit a device identifier and language code to the official API. When creating or importing a wallet, it may submit an RSA-encrypted, Base64-encoded random identifier that does not contain seed phrases, private keys or plain wallet addresses.

Public on-chain data

Balance, asset and transaction queries may access blockchain networks or third-party public APIs. Addresses, transaction hashes and balances are public on-chain information.

Watch wallets

Watch wallets store public addresses for balance and history viewing. They do not include private keys, but public addresses may reveal asset structure and transaction behavior.

File vault

The file vault encrypts local files. Users must keep encrypted files and passphrases safe. Astryn Wallet cannot recover content if the passphrase is lost.

Website access data

Website servers may record IP address, access time, browser type, visited pages and download requests for security auditing, troubleshooting and download statistics.

Security and user responsibility

Download only from the official website and verify SHA256 values. Never disclose seed phrases, private keys or file vault passphrases.
