Does Astryn Wallet store my seed phrase or private key on a server?
No. Wallet data is stored on the user's local device. Back up your seed phrase offline; no one can recover a lost wallet for you.
What is the difference between a watch wallet and a normal wallet?
A watch wallet imports only public addresses and can view balances and transactions, but cannot send assets. A normal wallet is controlled by a seed phrase or private key.
Why should I carefully confirm chain and address before sending?
Different chains have different address and asset rules. Once an on-chain transaction is confirmed, it cannot usually be reversed.
What if I forget the file vault passphrase?
The app cannot decrypt encrypted files without the passphrase. Keep it offline and do not send it through chat apps or email.
Are market prices and news always real-time?
Market and news data depend on public sources and network status, so delays can happen. For trading decisions, verify with exchanges and on-chain data.
Can I use the same wallet on multiple devices?
Yes. Import the same seed phrase to restore the same on-chain wallet. Only do this on trusted devices.
